You must bear fruit in the midst of famine

Famine: “A general want of provisions sufficient for the inhabitants of a country.”
-Webster’s 1828

As I was praying I saw a vision of miles and miles of crops and they were all withered and dead, and I heard God say, “you must bear fruit in the midst of famine” it just kept repeating over and over and over again. Those dead crops I saw are the time we are in now. There is famine all across the land, and when I say famine I’m not just talking about a lack of food. I’m talking about a lack of jobs, a lack of resources, etc. a recession is happening and we can see the effects all around us. It is not only affecting people’s bank accounts and livelihood; this famine is affecting the hearts of the people, the attitudes of the people. People are doing all types of things in this time out of desperation, fear, anger, and depression. But in this time of famine God is saying to every believer, you must not be like the world, you must bear fruit in the midst of the famine. We are to bear fruit in our hearts, in our attitudes, and in our lives. That means no matter what is going on around us, or within our own lives, we must keep the right attitude, we must keep the right mind set based on the Word of God. Remember we do not have to worry during this time. Psalm 37:19 says…

In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

The Word of God says that we do not have to be like those withered and dead crops that God showed me. If we get laid off, we can retain our joy, and thank God for the promotion that He is giving us, if times are tough we can keep our peace because of the promise of God.

It is in this time of famine that the church must bear fruit, because it is the fruit which will draw many unto Christ. If people see that we are not affected by what is going on, don’t you think that they will want to know why? And that is the perfect opportunity to tell them the answer…Jesus! God is beautifying His bride, His church, we are on display for all to see, we must represent Him with our lives, and with our fruit. So I charge all of you out there if your heart and attitude hasn’t been right in the midst of everything that has been going on, change your ways and start to bear fruit in the midst of the famine. God bless!!

You Are Healed

“News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all.” Matthew 4:24 (NLT)

Some people pose the question is healing for all? Well your answer is in the scripture above…he healed them all. So many times when sickness tries to attack us, we pray to God and we quote scripture, which is what we should do, but we also have to have a revelation of healing. We must understand that just as Jesus healed “them all” when He walked the earth, He did that same thing for us on the cross…

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5 (KJV)

He became our substitute; it was done on the cross for us over 2000 years ago. We don’t have to try to “be healed” we already “are healed”. We have to resist the enemy, for it is him who tries to come and place sickness on us. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, Jesus came to give us abundant life (John 10:10). The devil will try to throw things at you just as he did when he tempted Jesus 3 times (Matthew 4:1-11), but Jesus used the Word on him and told him to go away. Do the same if sickness comes knocking at your door (even if it comes 3 times) resist it (use the Word, and believe it in your heart) and it will flee from you (James 4:7).

Remember YOU ARE HEALED, YOU ARE HEALED, YOU ARE HEALED! God bless!

My Children Have Forsaken Me

I know you are enduring patiently and are bearing up for My name's sake, and you have not fainted or become exhausted or grown weary. But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love].

Remember then from what heights you have fallen. Repent (change the inner man to meet God's will) and do the works you did previously [when first you knew the Lord], or else I will visit you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you change your mind and repent. ~ Revelations 2:3-5 (AMP)

Sunday night as I was praying with my prayer partner, God spoke to me and said “My children have forsaken me.” And this heaviness came upon my heart. He showed me how we have forsaken our first love. We have gotten away from loving God, our thoughts have turned to “things” and off of God, and even though we may raise our hands in worship and pray, and we believe, and love God, we have taken Him out of His rightful place, we’ve forgotten the first commandment that Jesus gave…

And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. ~Mark 12:30 (AMP)

God desires us to get back to Him, to our first love, we don’t have to worry about “things” they are already given to us, they are a byproduct of the blessing. By worrying about “things” the church has begun to blend with the world and the world’s desires, not that we shouldn’t desire the best, because we should, but the difference is focus. “Things” are not our focus because all of those things are already given to us. We are supposed to be separate from the world, not be the same as the world. Remember the people of the world, aren’t looking at us “the church” to provide them with money or material possessions, the one thing they need from us is the one thing the devil won’t and could never offer them… the Love of God. It is that love which will heal their emotional wounds, it’s that love which will show them that they are precious and important, it is that love which will wipe their every sin away. But how can we give them that love, if we’ve fallen out of love with our Creator? He desires our love to be like when we first got saved (as we see from the above scripture), when we sang to Him out of our hearts, when the first thing we did in the morning and the last thing we did at night was speak to Him, when we said “Your will Father”, “I surrender to You”, “I’m fully submitted to You”, “What’s on Your heart and mind”, etc. That’s what time it is people of God, if you’ve found yourself in “religion” or set in tradition, or just going through the motions with God, then it’s time to make a change. Ask God to refill you, to refresh you, surrender your heart, your soul, your everything to Him.

There is a song that’s been playing over and over in my heart and I’m continually signing it to Him. Will it be your song today?

Jesus here I am your favorite one
Tell me what you’re thinking
Tell me what you’re feeling
I need to know

Cause I’m after your heart
I’m after your heart
I’m after you

Making Decisions out of Emotions

Luke 22: 41-42 (KJV)
And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

How many times have we made decisions solely based on how we were feeling at that moment? The above scriptures speak on Jesus, right before he was taken away. Just imagine if Jesus would have backed out. He knew what he was going to have to go through, all of the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain. What would have happened if Jesus would have let his natural emotions make the decision for him, and he told the Father to send a chariot and a legion of angels from Heaven to come and pick him up. If that would have happened, me and you would be in a terrible place right now.

We can’t let out emotions dictate our decisions, lives, or situations. Just as Jesus did, we have to let Gods will be done in our lives. In all of our decision making, whether big or small we should always revert back to our Father. Even though something may look good, that doesn’t mean its God’s will. Just because you’re getting what may seem to be a good deal on that new house, doesn’t mean its God’s will. Even though that girl you like is pleasing to the eye, it doesn’t mean that she is the one God has planned for your life.

When someone or something gets us upset, don’t be so quick vindicate yourself, you might actually do more damage than intended.

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

It’s time to get back to God, and start including Him in all of our affairs. I promise you if we start doing this, the negative by products of some of the bad decisions made will no longer be a problem.

Proverbs 14:12
Some people think they are doing right but in the end it leads to death. (NCV)

I pray that this has been a blessing to you.

Love

For God so loved the world that He gave….

I believe that the greatest seed we can sow into someone else is love, Gods love. When the word sowing comes up in the Kingdom of God we usually refer it to money. True, money is included when we talk about sowing seed, but what about the things of the spirit.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loved us “the world” so much that He sowed His love, in the form of His Son Jesus, into us. Let’s start sowing love into the lives of others. Let’s not sow just to seek a harvest but let’s sow with a cheerful heart. We do not need to sow just to expect our harvest, because as we know in Galatians 6:7:

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

As long as you are sowing into good ground and with a good heart the harvest will come.

If we begin to sow love, joy, and peace you better believe that you will receive back what you have sown.

I John 4:16
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

So I ask you what are you, and what are your motives? If God is love, and He created us in His image and after His likeness, shouldn’t we also be love? What greater seed to sow than what you are made of, love, Gods love.

Remember God is love, and love is giving.

I pray that this blesses you.

The God of Empowerment

Many times in life situations come up and we can get stuck in a rut. We’re not sure what to do, so sometimes we turn to the wrong resources, and other times we just don’t do anything at all. But I’m here to tell you that God is an empowerer. If we look in the Word we can see several different examples of God showing us that He has empowered us.

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” ~Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV)

“One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him.”~ Mark 1:16-18 (NLT)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”~Acts 1:8 (NIV)

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”~ Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

“Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.”~ Luke 9:1 (KJV)

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”~ John 14:12 (NLT)

You can see from these examples that God has given us power. Given us the power to get wealth, given us the power to spread His word, given us power to have dominion over the things around us, given us power over demons and sickness, and given us power to do the same things He did and even greater works. He gave us power to do all of these things and more, as long as it is in alignment with the Word. Doesn’t that make you feel good, that God didn’t just leave us helpless to our situations, of course we still must pray to God and seek Him with the things that are going on, but He is saying… Hey look at what I’ve given you, don’t just lay it down, use it, I have given you power!

So stand up people of God and use what God has given you. God bless!

Meditating God's Word

Joshua 1:8
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

In this day and age it is very imperative to have a grasp on Gods Word. There is so much going on in the world we need to truly meditate his Word day and night. Many of us claim to be doing so, but when we take a personal inside look at our lives it’s hard to believe that we even own a Bible. The days of just reading scriptures, smiling, and saying “that’s nice” are over. Let’s begin to activate the Word and make it produce fruit in our natural and spiritual lives. When you meditate His Word day and night your transforming your thinking, the Word is soaking into your sub-conscious so it will work for you like a natural reflex every time you need it.

I remember there was a time when I had trouble sleeping at night. I got in the Word and meditated Proverbs 3:24

“When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.”

After meditating that scripture I never had a sleeping problem since.

Right now there’s a strong spirit of fear sweeping the earth like a plague because of the current state of the global economy. I know I have nothing to worry about because:

2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

My place of employment has experienced a significant reduction in staff, but I was never afraid of being laid off because in:

Psalm 91:7
“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee”

Psalm 37:18-19
“The Lord knoweth the days of the upright and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.”

There were quite a few layoffs at my job, including half of my department but not me even though I was the last one hired. The Word will work for you every time and in any situation no matter what it may look like.

Even if I would have been one of the ones who were laid off, that would not have changed my perception of the Word because:

Philippians 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

People it’s time to start putting His Word to work in your lives.

I pray that this has blessed you.

The just shall live by faith...

“…The just shall live by faith.”
~Romans 1:17 & Habakkuk 2:4

The just: Righteous (those who are in right standing with God), believers, the servants of God.

To Live: To continue in constantly (continually; perseveringly.) or habitually (by frequent practice or use).

A lot of people know this scripture and I’ve heard Pastors quote it and the congregations chime in and shout with enthusiasm, and that is great, but the question is are we walking it out? When someone gives you a bad report, do you put your head down and sulk about it, or do you say what the Word says and believe God by faith? Hmmmm…that’s something to think about isn’t it?

This scripture is telling us that as believers we should be living constantly, perseveringly, and habitually by faith. Which makes perfect sense because how did we all become Christians? By faith, right? We confessed Jesus with our mouths and believed in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead and we were saved. Well if that was our first act in coming into the Kingdom, then doesn’t it make sense that everything else is received by faith also, just as our salvation was? After all we don’t question our salvation do we? So why do we question our healing, our financial status, or anything else God says we have in His Word? This was not a one time event in which our faith brought us something that we needed (Jesus), this is a lifestyle. It is an everyday thing. It is believing by faith what God has said in His word, and that He will do what He said He would. So I challenge each and every one of you out there today, to start living a lifestyle of faith. I dare you to believe God for everything! And don’t give up if something doesn’t go your way right away, just make up your mind that no matter what you are going to believe God. God bless!

Subduing Your Flesh

I know that one of the biggest tricks that the enemy uses to try and stop us from carrying out our God given assignments is ourselves. We as humans are made up of three different parts the body, the soul, and the spirit. Our strongest part that we’re supposed to be operating out of is our spirit. This is the part that is directly linked up to our Father, the part where we receive our instruction from, the part that is able to dictate our lives. Instead of using our spirit to dictate our decisions and actions we have been using the weakest part of our being to do so, our body (flesh), until now.

Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Before we take dominion over the earth the scripture says that we first must subdue it, or keep it under our subjection. “Our” meaning, the Church. But how can we subdue the earth if we can’t even subdue our own flesh. It was never meant for mankind to struggle with the weakest part of its being. The devil has used this against us since the Fall of Adam. He has placed things on this earth that we have fallen trap to, whether it be an addictive substance, whether it may be doubt, confusion, fear, etc…. whatever you have been struggling with I’m telling you that you do not have to. Once you are saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit your chains have been broken and your direct link to the Father has been activated.

John 3:6
Jesus says “That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

If you have already been baptized in the Holy Spirit but yet there are some things that you still struggle with, you have to begin to exercise your spirit, just like you exercise your body, begin to engage it and seek it for guidance.

Matthew 17:21
Jesus says “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”

Some things that we have dealt with in our lives have taken root in our spirits, whether it be depression, confusion, emotional pain, unbelief, etc… can only come out when you put your body into total subjection under fasting and praying.

I too learned this lesson; when I first truly began my walk with Christ, I was true and faithful and God was speaking to me about things to come and also speaking to me about what I needed to rid my life of. I was a long time fan of Hip Hop music, some of the music that I listened to was clearly not of God but for the longest I would try and validate my reasons for listening to it, saying that it was ok just as long as I didn’t let it get into my spirit, or affect the kind of person I became but God wasn’t hearing it. It came to a point when I would listen to the music and so much condemnation would come over me that I would cringe every time a swear word was spoken, God was speaking. So one day God instructed me to go on a fast, the fast was to be for seven days, no food, only water. During those seven days I put my body under total subjection to my spirit, I stayed before God in prayer and just in regular conversation and with his help I succeeded. That fast catapulted me into a new level with God and not even realizing, when I came off the fast my appetite for Hip Hop and other types of music was instantly gone. Now, I’m not trying to bring condemnation on you if you listen to secular music, everyone’s walk is different. I just wanted to show you the power of fasting and praying, if it worked for me in an area I was struggling with, then it will work for anyone with their struggle such as depression, emotional abuse, laziness, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, etc… God doesn’t want you to go through it alone and by yourself, just submit and He’ll take away the issue just like that without any 5 step programs.

God is speaking to me, that we’re coming into a time of the Church. He showed me a vision of chains and shackles being loosed from His bride (The Church) and as the chains and shackles were being loosed an image of that bride in an all white garment flowing in the wind ascended over the entire earth and was still, just hovering. The bride (Church) was still because she is awaiting direction from us on how and where to move.

I don’t know about you but I’m so excited about what is happening. Don’t let your flesh let you miss this move of God.

I pray that this has been a blessing.

I'm calling you out...

My children hear me this day, for I am calling you out. Calling you out of your homes, calling you out of your churches, calling you out of your comfort zones, to follow me. For there is much work to be done, and there are many to be saved. Step out, trust me, for the things that I have placed in you, you’ve known not of. The things I’m preparing you for, you’ve never seen. For I am doing a new thing in the body, the world will stand up and take notice, they will see the wondrous works of My hands. Arise my children, arise, the time is now, be open to my voice, be open to my leading. This is not the time for your intellectual minds to try to understand, it is time for complete obedience. Come, follow me.

Thus saith the Lord

Living for the Kingdom

“See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”-Jeremiah 1:10 (KJV)

We are coming into a time where the body of Christ will begin to do exactly what the above scripture represents. For generations the kingdoms of this world have been under the control of the enemy. When I say the world kingdoms I am referring to the dominant industries and forces that pretty much govern the world; they are Government, Business, Education, Arts & Entertainment, Media, Family, and Religion.

It is Gods plan to have all of the dominating industries/forces under the control of His church. When I say the word church I am not referring to the building you go to on Sunday Mornings. In the Greek the world church is ekklesia, which refers to the government that was established by Jesus. The perfect system of governing. It’s up to us to bring this prophesy to pass. God wants us to take over, to subdue, and dominate as he ordained us to do since the foundations of this world. But this has not been happening, the enemy has clouded the minds of the saints with worldly cares, your job, bills, bad relationships, addictions, sickness, disease, etc…if you would just open your Bible and study out the scriptures you would find an answer to each and everyone of those issues. We get so caught up with things of the world that it takes our attention and focus away from carrying out our God given assignment. We are to live in the world, but we must not be of this world. We as the church are supposed to set the example of how to live life, how to operate businesses, educate each other. It’s time to get our thinking straight and get on the path God has given each and everyone of us.

It’s Time to Act

Yesterday we talked about being still and listening to God. Today I want to talk about acting on what we hear…

We can get to the point where we have disciplined ourselves to sit and to hear God, but after we hear it is our turn to act on what we have heard. We are moving in to a great time of tremendous revelation. God showed me that when His people start to quiet themselves and listen, He is going to start to speak in a powerful way. He is going to give us clear direction on what He wants us to do, to say, to write, invent, etc. He is going to tell us what is coming (John 16:13). We will be able to go into business meetings and give the boss exactly what he/she wants because God will already have given us a perfect strategy. You will be able to do things that you’ve never been trained to do because the Spirit of God will teach you exactly how to do it. We are in an amazing time, hear me when I say that, if we as the body can do what God is asking us to do, then the world will see our works and they will glorify God in heaven.

James 1:22 (KJV)~“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…”

Deuteronomy 6:3 (NIV)~“Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.”

Deuteronomy 12:28 (KJV)~“Observe and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.”

As you can see from these passages of scripture it is extremely important that we not only listen, but we act on what God has told us, no matter what He says, and we will be extremely blessed, not only us, but our children. Just as we have trusted our earthly parents/guardians because we know they wouldn’t lead us astray, in the same way we have to trust our Heavenly Father, and although we may not know why He is asking us to do certain things, or we can’t quite connect the dots to where it may lead, regardless we have to walk in trust and obedience to our Creator. Remember a few days ago Daryle was talking about 1 Corinthians 1:27 (KJV)...

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”

Some things may seem foolish, but don’t try to figure it out, just trust Him and know that God knows what He is doing. God bless!

Be still and Listen

Quiet/still (Hebrew: damam)…to be silent, be still, wait.

Silent (Hebrew: hacah)…hush, keep silence, be silent, hold peace, hold tongue, still.

Today as I was in my time of prayer and worship, the Lord had me sit still and be quiet. After awhile my flesh begin to rise up, I’m not the most talkative person by any means, but to just sit still and not speak for a long period of time was very hard for me. My flesh was not liking it at all and I felt like I just had to say something. It was then that God told me I was not to speak until later in the evening. In my head I was thinking “WHAT? I can’t say anything until evening?” at this point I could have been disobedient and spoke anyway, or I could have thought “was that really God?”, because it didn’t make sense to me, but instead, I thought “Ok Lord, there is a reason for this, show me why.” He led me to this scripture…

“Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.” (Zechariah 2:13)

Then the Lord began ministering to me, telling me that it is just as important to take time and be quiet and listen, as it was to pray. He told me that many times we hold one sided conversations with Him, we take time and give Him our prayers, but He said many people don’t take time to listen to what He has to say, or they are looking for Him to “interrupt” them and speak to them at the same time they are speaking to Him.

Let me ask you a question…What if you and your friend sat down to talk, would you both start talking at the same time? Would you interrupt them while they were talking so you could talk? Or would you talk and then as soon as you were done talking get up and walk away, without allowing your friend a chance to talk? No, you wouldn’t and God is looking for that same courtesy. He is coming out of His habitation to speak to us, He meets us right where we are to give us a word, how awesome is that!

So many times I hear people say, I don’t hear God, I don’t know if He speaks to me, etc., well I can tell you one thing, God speaks to everyone, it’s just that everyone doesn’t take the time to listen to Him. He was teaching me that valuable lesson today, and I pray that it helps you all as well, it’s time to be quiet and still before Him because He has so much to share with us. Remember Matthew 4:4 says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”. This is not only the Word that you read, but it’s also the words that you hear straight from God. God bless!

It’s Time to Take Down your Goliath…

Yesterday I touched on how God uses the foolish and the weak things to confound the wise of the world. Another example of this is the story of David and Goliath. The Lord used little David to kill Goliath, a giant and the most feared of the Philistines.

Today I want to know what’s taking so long for you to slay your Goliath? What I’ve come to find out through my own experiences is when God gives you a charge to carry out his work; it’s usually something much bigger than our natural realm of capabilities. It is something that we cannot do without the help of God.

Don’t fret because like David said, we come in the name of the Lord of hosts (1st Samuel 17:45), we are well able to carry out everything that God tells us to and with much Excellency. Once we make up in our minds to accept the assignment this is usually when we falter, because the enemy shows up and starts to bombard our minds with fiery darts and the next thing you know you are telling yourself, I can’t do it, maybe that wasn’t God speaking to me, or I’ll carry out the next assignment God gives me.

Why do we do this? We do this because it’s easier for us to back out and stay in our comfort zones than to launch out into the deep. In the story of David and Goliath the Philistines stood on a mountain on one side and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side and there was a valley in between. When God gave you the charge he was telling you to come down out of your safe zone and go and conquer the other mountain, but many of us don’t want to leave our comfort zones and march into the valley to battle.

I’m telling you today to go forth and march into the valley. You are well equipped, you have already won the battle. “Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalm 23)

Folks I’m telling you there are too many mountains (kingdoms) that are still under the control of the enemy. It’s time to have the faith of David and get mad at the enemy for defying the Lord our God and His Church. It’s time to run at the enemy full force and cut him off at the head and take back every mountain (kingdom) that is under his control.

Saints of God it’s Time.

Things that the World Can’t Explain…

I Corinthians 1:27 (KJV)

“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”

I believe we are moving into a time here on the earth where we are going to experience the power of God move like never before and see the Kingdom of God operating at a level that has never before been witnessed by the world. In order for this shift to take place, we the saints need to do our part. The Church to God is like a wife to her husband, the help meet.

God put the above scripture on my heart, and I began to think on it and meditate it. What I discovered is that one of the greatest ways that God sets himself apart from the world is by doing things that can only be attributed to him. As many of you know my wife and I were recently married earlier in the year only after meeting and knowing each other for a month and a half. To the world that decision was looked at as being foolish, but we know that God has not lead us astray when he gave us the charge to get married. Since we’ve been married we are experiencing the power of God like never before.

See, every time God gives you an instruction to carry out that you can’t comprehend with your intellectual mind and may seem foolish to world, he is actually trusting in you so much that he is giving you the responsibility of sanctifying his Kingdom in front of the world. I don’t know about you but I feel honored that God would give me such a task, that he trusts me and believes in me so much that he would give me such a responsibility.
If you study the stories in the Bible you will see that this happens over and over again.

II Kings 5- Elisha instructs Naaman to go and dip himself seven times in the Jordan river and he will be cleansed of his leprosy. To the world this was foolish, and in fact Naaman was wroth and went away. He thought that Elisha should of came out and laid hands on him or at least have him go to a better river to dip himself in, Jordan being the “weaker” river. Naaman was convinced to follow the instruction of the prophet and dipping himself seven times in the Jordan river, he came out with the skin of a little child, flawless of age and disease. Through this experience God was sanctified in the hearts of the men who witnessed this miracle.

Joshua 6:2-5: God tells Joshua that he has given him the land of Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. God instructs them to march around the walls, once a day for six days and on the seventh day march around the walls seven times and on the seventh time when the priests blow the trumpets, “Shout; For the Lord hath given you the city.”

When these instructions were followed the walls of Jericho fell flat. To the world this was a foolish thing, but God was sanctifying himself.

When we receive instruction from God and know it’s from God, it is not our position to try and figure it out for our own comforts. No matter what he tells you to do just do it, he will not lead you astray, He has your best interests at heart. When you begin to step out on faith and do exactly what you’re instructed to do your level of faith increases and your trust in God becomes a fortified wall that can withstand any blow from the enemy.

I pray that this has been a blessing in your life.

Say Yes...

God has really been speaking to me about the church in the last few days. When I say the church I’m not talking about a building with four walls. I’m talking about us, about believers, we are the church. God has shown me several things. First is that He is tearing the walls of the church (building) down. He is calling us to see that it is not about a building, not about religion, it is all about the Kingdom. The walls are coming down as they did in Jericho and He is bringing the true church together as one. He showed me that He is purifying His bride (also known as the church). He is purifying her and adorning her in white. She is being raised up and going to be put on display before the world. But for this to take place, the church, we the body, have to get back to our first love. We have to get back to that place when we first got saved, and were so in love with God, we would do anything for Him. Nothing got in the way of our relationship with Him. Back to the place where we sought only His face and His heart, and not His hand. The place where it wasn’t about us, it was all about submitting and surrendering to Him. It was all about serving Him, it was all about glorifying and worshiping Him. That is the place we have to return to, and those with hardened hearts that refuse to go there, are going to miss the movement.

It’s time to stop focusing on ourselves, and on things because we all know Matthew 6:33, if we seek the Kingdom of God first, then we get everything else, so we don’t need to worry about those things, God desires to freely give us everything we could ever want and ever need, all we have to do is give ourselves completely to Him. For some of you this is going to mean making an adjustment in your lives, for some it’s going to mean taking a hard look in the mirror and being honest with yourself. One thing God does desire that we know is that there is no guilt or condemnation for missing the mark or for getting off track, all He desires is that we get back on track. Yesterday is forgotten to Him if you ask Him to forgive you. And to those people that pride has gotten in the way of their relationship with God, or intellect and trying to rationalize everything has gotten in the way of their relationship with God, it’s time to put all of that aside and humble yourselves before the Father.

God loves each and everyone of us so much and He desires to see His church come together. If you are willing to go back to that place, if you’ve missed it, or you desire to go deeper then you already are then remember the words of the song “Yes” by Shekinah Glory Ministry (I tweaked it so that it was personalized), and release them to the Father. Remember ALL God wants is yes, make it personal, tell Him yes today. God bless…

I Open up my heart and I tell you yes
I say yes
I’ll obey Jesus
I won’t stray Jesus
This time I’ve made up in my mind
I’ve made up in my mind
I’ll say yes
My soul says yes
My mind says yes
My heart says yes
Yes I will Jesus,
Yes
I’ll do what you want me to do
I’ll say what you want me to say
I’ll go, if you lead me
If you lead me
If you lead me
If you lead me
I’ll go
I won’t be afraid
I’ll step out on your word
I’ll declare your glory
Yes I will
Yes I will
my soul says yea yea yea yea
I submit my way to Yours
I wanna do your will Jesus
I wanna do your will
I wanna do your will
My soul says yes, yes, yes
I might have to give up some relationships
But my soul says yes
I might have to give up somethings that are dear to me
But my soul says yes
You mean everything to me Jesus
You are the first and foremost in my life
That’s why I say yes
I say yes
Friends may come and friends may go
But if you lead me I will follow
I say yes
Yes
Yes
My soul says yes Jesus
My soul says yes

To the Church...

Hey everyone this is a Word the Lord gave me and told me to share this morning…

To the church:

My children hear me this day! For I am not pleased, I have given you dominion over the land, but you have not taken it. Murders, corruption, hate, hypocrisy, rebellion, immorality running rampant through the people, and you allow it.

Some of you call yourself My children, but you are engaging in activities of the world. Blessings and curses can not come out of the same lips. I have set you here, the church, to take your rightful place and to be a life-line to the world, but your greed and your own selfish lusts have clouded your vision. It is time to put down those wicked ways, repent, and seek My face. It is time to bring unity where there has been division, it is time for everyone in the body to take their rightful place, for no longer will My church be broken into pieces.
Thus saith the Lord
