“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” ~ 2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT
This morning the Lord woke me up with this scripture. I know many of us have heard this scripture, and some of us confess it, but God wants this scripture to manifest in each of our lives, He desires for it to no longer be words to us, but to be truth to us. He is tired of seeing His children live in lack, and in poverty. He has given us a gift, an inheritance that provides everything we need. He is an eternal God so in the realm where He lives He has already done everything for us. He has already provided everything each of us need, but many of us have not been able to receive because our faith hasn’t been developed enough. It is our faith that will reach out of time, into eternity and pull out those things we need right now. It is our trust in the Word which will bring it all to pass. It is time to put any sliver of doubt out of our minds, and hold on to the times we have seen this happen in our lives, or the lives of others, and make that the truth. Not only should we just have this scripture memorized, but it has to become a part of us, it has to become a belief in our hearts just as we know the sky is blue, we should know that our loving father has provided everything we need.
Also we need to get the right mindset about this scripture it also says He is providing everything we need so that we have more than enough left over to share with others. Is your heart right in this area? Are you just thinking about getting yourself the things you need, or do you have a desire in your heart to be a blessing to others. God blesses us to be a blessing to others. Do you desire a million dollars so you can get a big house, and a Mercedes Benz (not that it is bad to have those things!), or do you desire to have that money so you can take care of yourself, but you have also purposed to give some of that money, to sow some into the lives of others? If we don’t take care of our brothers and sisters who will? Remember we live in abundance not only for ourselves, but for others!
I pray this gives you all somethings to think about. God bless!
